General terms and conditions for all patients
- These terms and conditions form the basis of the agreement between the patient (you/your) and Dr Louise Beet Aesthetics (us/our)
- Please read these terms and conditions and our private policy carefully
- You are required to provide contact details, including: name, address, telephone, date of birth and email in order to secure an appointment
- You will need to complete a medical history form for the first appointment, or if your medical condition changes
- All information will be treated as confidential and protected in accordance with the Data Protection legislation
- All patients will be asked to sign a consent form prior to any treatment. You have the right to change your mind to treatment, even after having signed the consent form
- Non disclosure of any medical conditions, treatments past, present or future will waive any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions and causes of actions directly or indirectly, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury or death
Appointments
- When you book an appointment, you will be required to pay a deposit
- If you need to cancel an appointment, we will need at least 48 hours notice.
- If you do not attend a booked appointment and fail to inform us in advance, we will be entitled to charge you the deposit fee
- If, due to exceptional circumstances, for example: illness, accidents, bereavements, you reschedule or cancel an appointment without giving us at least 48 hours prior notice, we will consider the circumstances and at our discretion decide whether to waive any charge for late cancellation
- If we need to cancel an appointment booked by you any time before the time and date, we will refund you in full any deposit for that appointment.
Eligibility for treatment
- We will not provide treatment to you if you are aged under 18 years old. We may require evidence of your age for this purpose
- We will not provide treatments to you if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are currently breastfeeding
- We will not provide treatment for you if following your consultation, we believe that the treatment is not suitable for you or is not likely to be successful, as individuals differ in their responses to and the outcome of treatments
- Certain treatments may not be suitable in certain medical conditions. This will be explained to you during the initial consultation
Fees and payment
- You must pay in accordance with our price list for all services on completion of those treatments we have completed on you
- Payment is taken, in full (less the deposit) at the time of treatment
- You may pay with cash, or major credit and debit cards
Refunds
- Every effort will be made to ensure you have the best possible outcome, but as with all medical procedures, there can be a spectrum of results. As individuals differ in their responses to and outcome of the treatment, no clinical or financial guarantees can be given
- Treatment fees charged for treatment are for the delivery of a treatment and the accompanying service, which is inclusive of: consultation and assessment, provision of information and advice, safe treatment with evidence based products, follow up and aftercare advice and support as appropriate
- Whilst we undertake to provide excellent service, factual, honest and ethical advice, safe, expert treatment in experienced hands and only the best products, we cannot guarantee your results and cannot offer refunds if the results achieved fail to meet your expectations
Botulinum toxin reviews/top ups
- Routine review appointments are offered after treatment with botulinum toxin as a courtesy. At this review you may be offered a complimentary “top up” treatment, if it is clinically required
- Complimentary top up treatments must be taken within 2-3 weeks after the initial treatment. If you are unable to attend for the review appointment within this time period, no additional top up treatment will be offered
Dermal filler top ups
- Dermal filler top ups are chargeable
Children
- Children will not be permitted in the treatment room
- Please ensure that any children brought to the treatment, will need to have a supervising adult to accompany them, whilst you are in the treatment room being treated
Mental health disorders and aesthetics
- It is important that all patients considering aesthetic treatments have realistic expectations that focus on improvement rather than perfection. Complications or less than satisfactory results are sometimes unavoidable, may require additional treatment and can be stressful
- All patients must openly discuss with us, prior to any treatment, any history they may have of significant depression, anxiety or other mental health conditions
- Although individuals may benefit psychologically from the results of aesthetic treatments, effects on mental health cannot be accurately predicted
Risk of clinical complications
- The health and safety of our patients is at the heart of all we do and while we will do our very best to ensure a satisfactory outcome, no clinical procedure is completely risk free and the results of any particular treatment cannot be guaranteed
- Although rare, some procedures have well documented clinical complications and these together with your personal risk will be discussed during your consultation and documented in the patient information leaflet and consent form
- Many complications can be managed simply and conservatively and we will, of course, treat these to the best of our abilities and knowledge. However, in the unlikely event of a complication being more serious and you needing further treatment outside of our expertise, arrangements will be made for you to be treated in the NHS, or, if you wish, privately at your own cost. Please be advised that private medical insurance may not cover complications arising from aesthetic treatments
Equipment safety
- Your safety comes first. If at any time we discover or have concerns that any of our equipment or supplies are not in proper, working condition, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment and thank you for your understanding

- If you have a complaint, please inform us as soon as possible
